Our season came to an end on Sunday 5th July with the annual summer tournament.
There were two prizes up for grabs; the Shield for our younger juniors and their family, and the Cup for our older juniors and club players. This year's victors were the Marshmallows and the Red team for the Shield and Cup competitions respectively.
It was a fantastic day that showcased the Tynedale spirit. The games were competitive but played with good humour with lots of fun and laughter throughout the day. It was great to see so many parents getting involved and being shown a thing or two by the young ones!
We rounded off the day with a BBQ at Tynedale Cricket Club. It was a special moment to see kids from all age groups playing together and having fun while the adults relaxed and recovered from their athletic pursuits. A lovely way to round off the season.
Thanks to all those that came to play and support. Thanks also to those who helped with organisation, umpiring, BBQ, and raffle and so on. It's wonderful to see so many people getting involved.
